Why choose a camping destination?

For an authentic camping holiday, whether with your own equipment or in a wooden rental, choose Florenville Camping. Camping Florenville is an ideal base for discovering our beautiful region and enjoying an idyllic setting. Our Café-Comptoir and summer-only activities are numerous.

Are your campsites open in winter?

Not yet! Our campsites are currently closed for the winter season to allow us to carry out a range of maintenance, improvement and renovation work. This period is essential for us to be able to offer you even more pleasant surroundings and top-class facilities when the fine weather returns.
However, we dream of opening our campsites in winter one day, so that you can enjoy the magic of snow-covered landscapes and the unique atmosphere of this season. Imagine cosy lodges, winter walks in the heart of nature and relaxing by the fire… We’re seriously thinking about it and hope to be able to make this project a reality in the future. What is the minimum length of stay?

With us, freedom is more than just a word: it’s our philosophy. Whether you want to spend a night, a weekend, a week, a month or more, it’s up to you. There are no fixed rules, no constraints: you are free to come, to stay, and to leave at your own pace, according to your desires.
We believe that true luxury is being able to choose. To choose to escape for a quick break or to immerse yourself fully in the serenity of nature for an extended stay. Here, there’s no need to plan weeks in advance: your stay adapts to you, not the other way round.

Can I choose a particular pitch or accommodation or specify a preference?

When booking online, it is not possible to choose a specific pitch or accommodation. However, if you have a specific request, please email us at hello@florenville.camp. We’ll do our best to accommodate your wishes, but we can’t always guarantee the availability of the pitch or accommodation you require.
Why can’t we guarantee availability? Quite simply because we like to retain a certain amount of flexibility in order to organise all our visitors’ stays as well as possible and optimise everyone’s experience. This allows us to manage arrivals and departures in a relaxed atmosphere, and above all, to welcome you with a smile and without stress.

How can I book several pitches or rental units at the same time, or side by side?

When booking on our website, it is not possible to select a specific pitch or accommodation. However, if you have a particular request, you can email us at hello@florenville.camp, and we will do our best to accommodate it.
That said, we cannot guarantee that your preference will be respected. Why can’t we? Quite simply because we have to juggle the availability and needs of all our visitors so that everyone can make the most of their stay. This organisation allows us to maintain a fluid and pleasant atmosphere for everyone, even during busy periods.
We love to please you, so don’t hesitate to write to us, and we’ll do our best to ensure that your experience is as close to your wishes as possible ! 😊

Are campsites accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, our campsite has been designed to welcome people with reduced mobility in the best possible conditions. We have adapted a number of facilities, in particular the toilet blocks, to make them accessible and comfortable. Some accommodation has also been adapted to meet their specific needs.
However, it’s true that in a natural environment like ours, certain areas or activities may be less easily accessible. But don’t panic, we’re here to help! If you have any special needs or questions before you arrive, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll do everything we can to help you find the right solutions, so that your stay is as enjoyable as that of our other visitors.
A warm and friendly welcome is part of our DNA, and we do our utmost to ensure that everyone can make the most of the unique experience our campsite has to offer. 😊

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are welcome at our campsite! We know how precious it is to share a holiday with your four-legged friend. However, for everyone’s well-being and safety, we do not accept animals considered to belong to a so-called dangerous category.
What’s more, your pet must be kept on a lead at all times on the campsite. This ensures a harmonious cohabitation between all our visitors and their furry friends.
If you would like to bring your pet with you, please let us know when you book. We will be delighted to welcome your pet and help you have an unforgettable stay together ! 🐾

How many vehicles per pitch or rental unit?

At our campsite, we have chosen to create a calm, safe and environmentally-friendly atmosphere. The lodge area is a car-free zone. There are no cars in the area, so children can play freely and safely, while limiting the environmental impact. A dedicated car park is available nearby for visitors staying in the lodges.
For bare pitches, one car is allowed per pitch. If you need to park an extra vehicle, don’t worry: just contact us in advance and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate your request.
This way of working allows us to preserve the serenity of the site and ensure that nature, families and campers live together in harmony. Please contribute to this spirit by respecting these small rules, which make all the difference ! 🚗🌿

Do you offer charging points for electric cars?

We’ve got a solution for you! 🌟 We’ve got a classic plug for you to recharge your car. What’s the cost? Between €35 and €50, and for the greediest batteries, it can be a bit more.
It’s our way of giving you a helping hand in your eco-friendly approach, while making your stay super practical. Just let us know when you book or when you arrive, and we’ll plug it all in for you ! 🌿🔋

Do you accept unaccompanied minors?

No, we do not accept unaccompanied minors. This rule is in place to guarantee their safety and well-being, and to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our visitors.
Welcoming minors requires particular vigilance, particularly with regard to legal responsibilities, activities on site and possible emergencies. This is why we ask that they always be under the supervision of a responsible adult during their stay.
We understand that this rule may limit certain situations, but it reflects our commitment to maintaining a safe, friendly environment that is suitable for everyone. 😊

Is it possible to add a tent or marquee next to my accommodation?

Yes, you can add a tent or barnum to a bare pitch, subject to the usual campsite rules. For example, the total size of the installation must not exceed that of the pitch, and any addition must respect the safety distances between structures.
In the case of rental accommodation, such as lodges, chalets or mobile homes, it is unfortunately not permitted to add a tent or barnum nearby. These zones are designed to ensure your comfort and that of your neighbours, with optimised space for each accommodation type.

Are barbecues allowed?

✅ Electric and gas barbecues : Yes, they are welcome for safe, gourmet meals.
❌ Charcoal barbecues: Not on sensitive areas, but authorised on grass or concrete areas to respect the environment and avoid risks.
And the cherry on the grill? We’re offering barbecues for hire on site, with a bag of charcoal included (subject to availability). So get out your best recipes, sit back and enjoy a delicious meal in the open air, on the banks of the Semois. Because that’s what holidays are all about: sharing good times around a good table ! 🍖🌿

What is included in my price?

Your overnight stay includes everything you need to make the most of your stay: access to your accommodation or pitch, use of the campsite facilities (sanitary facilities, play area, swimming pool in season, etc.), and the incomparable charm of our natural environment.
However, certain options and additional services, such as bed linen, towels or pets, are not included in the basic rate. These services can be added as required at the time of booking or on arrival.

How do the offers and promotions apply?

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept a wide range of payment cards, including debit cards such as Bancontact, Maestro, V PAY and iDEAL, as well as credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard. Cards issued by Belgian, Dutch and European banks are also welcome. If you prefer, cash payments can also be made on site.
However, please note that we do not accept American Express on site. If you have any questions or wish to ensure that your method of payment is accepted, please do not hesitate to contact us before your stay. We’re here to make everything as simple and hassle-free as possible ! 😊

Do you offer a loyalty programme?

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, it is possible, but only through our partnership with payment solutions such as Mollie and Klarna. These services allow you to pay for your stay in several instalments at the time of booking. Please note that this option must be chosen directly when paying online.
Once the booking has been confirmed, the campsite does not offer payment in instalments.
To take advantage of the option to pay in instalments, please make sure you select this option when you make your booking on our website. 😊

Insurance

When can I take out cancellation insurance?

The cancellation insurance offered on our website is a partner service, totally independent of our campsite. It must be taken out at the time of booking. Once this period has elapsed, it will no longer be possible to take out insurance, at least for the insurance offered on our website.
In the event of a problem or request for reimbursement, you should contact the insurance company directly. They handle the claims, check that the reason is legitimate and that the eligibility conditions are met. The campsite is not involved in this process and does not make any insurance-related reimbursements.
We remind you that our General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) remain applicable for all bookings made. If a waiver is granted, it will be exclusively at the initiative of the insurance company and not the campsite.
We therefore strongly advise you to think carefully about taking out this insurance when you make your booking, so that you are covered for any unforeseen circumstances. It could make all the difference to your peace of mind ! 😊

What does your cancellation insurance cover?

Full details of cancellation insurance cover are provided directly by our insurance partner. You will be able to consult all the necessary information, including the general conditions and the reasons covered, once your booking is about to be finalised.
This documentation will enable you to check exactly what is covered (e.g. illness, accident, major unforeseen events, etc.) and to understand the eligibility criteria in the event of a claim.

Before my stay

When will I receive confirmation of my booking?

Don’t worry, your booking confirmation will be sent to you automatically by email as soon as your deposit or balance has been paid. It is therefore essential that you have a valid (and well spelt, that helps!) email address.
If you don’t see your confirmation arrive, don’t forget to take a look in your spam folder – you never know, sometimes it likes to play hide-and-seek. I would like to add services

You can do this directly when you make your reservation on our website. You’ll find all the options available: sheets, towels, extra mattresses, and many other services to personalise your stay according to your wishes.

Can I book my activities in advance?

🌟 Here, there’s zero stress and 100% freedom: no need to plan your week in advance! The activities are decided on the spot, because after all, that’s what holidays are all about: improvising, having fun, and living life to the rhythm of your desires. Every week, we’ll put together a tailor-made programme full of fun, surprises and unforgettable moments.

What are the arrival and departure times?

To make sure everything runs smoothly, please send us your estimated time of arrival to hello@florenville.camp, together with your booking reference.
⚠️ Practical information not to be missed:
To ensure the peace and quiet of our campers, it is no longer possible to set up after 8pm. If you arrive later, no problem, but let us know at least 24 hours in advance by email so that we can make the necessary arrangements (badge, barrier, etc.).
After 11pm, vehicles can no longer enter the campsite, so it’s best to arrive in good time.
If the road is playing tricks on you, don’t panic, we’ve always got a solution for you! Just let us know and we’ll make sure everything goes according to plan, even outside our opening hours. Because here, flexibility and good vibes are always on the agenda. 🌟

I'm likely to arrive after reception has closed, so what should I do?

No need to worry! Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance so that we can make all the necessary arrangements. We have a practical system with a key box and we’ll send you a detailed access plan in advance.
But, be warned, anticipation is key (no pun intended 😉 ). Contact us by email at hello@florenville.camp, and we’ll take care of everything so that you can arrive with peace of mind, even after reception has closed. 😊

Do I have to pay a deposit?

For lodges, mobile homes and chalets, we require a pre-authorisation via Swikly, rather than a traditional deposit. Here’s how it works:
A pre-authorisation means that no amount is debited from your account. A sum is simply blocked temporarily, like a guarantee, to cover any damage or shortcomings. This is much more practical and stress-free, as the sum does not appear as a debit from your account. If everything is in order at the end of your stay, the pre-authorisation is automatically lifted, without any action on your part.
We use Swikly, a secure, easy-to-use online solution that allows you to manage all this in just a few clicks. Before your arrival, we send you a link by email so that you can carry out this pre-authorisation with complete peace of mind. This saves you precious time when you check in, and allows you to arrive more relaxed.
We strongly encourage you to complete this step online before your stay. If you don’t, you can always manage it on site, but it may take a little longer on arrival.
Swikly makes the whole process smooth, fast and secure, so you can enjoy your holiday to the full without worrying about the formalities. 😊

Cancel or change

How do I cancel or change my booking?

Unfortunately, confirmed bookings cannot be cancelled, so please check your choices carefully before finalising your booking.
If you wish to change your stay, please send an email to hello@florenville.camp. We will do our best to find a solution, subject to availability. However, please note that price adjustments may apply depending on the new dates or options chosen.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we are here to help you as much as possible.

I cancel or shorten my stay. What do I have to do to be reimbursed by Cancellation Insurance?

If you took out cancellation insurance when you booked, you will need to contact our insurance partner directly. All requests for refunds go through them, and you will find the necessary contact details and instructions in the documents provided at the time of booking.
To support your claim, you will need to provide documentary evidence of the reason for the cancellation or interruption, such as a medical certificate or official attestation. The insurance company will assess your case and decide whether the eligibility conditions have been met. The campsite is not involved in this process.
It is essential to note that this insurance must be taken out at the time of booking. If this is not the case, our General Terms and Conditions of Sale will apply, and no refund will be possible via the campsite.
For any questions or clarifications, we advise you to contact the insurance customer service directly, who will be able to guide you through the process. 😊

My stay in a pitch

How many people can camp on one pitch?

On a standard pitch at Florenville Camping, we welcome a maximum of 6 people per pitch, in accordance with our regulations. This guarantees optimum comfort for campers while complying with safety and conviviality standards. If there are 5 or 6 of you, it’s important to consider the space needed for your tent or caravan and the equipment. Our pitches are designed to offer sufficient space, but it is essential not to overcrowd the pitch to maintain a pleasant and practical atmosphere.

What type of sockets are available?

At Florenville Camping, the pitches are equipped with standard European CEE-type electrical sockets (blue plug), commonly used on campsites. This connection is ideal for most equipment such as caravans, tents and electrical appliances.
If you don’t have this adaptor, don’t worry: we offer adaptors for sale directly on site, so that you can take full advantage of the electrical installations without any worries. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need any further information before your arrival !

Cleaning option available: book online or on site. If you prefer to do it yourself, don’t worry, just leave the accommodation as you found it.

Late departure: possible?

Yes, it’s possible, but it’s not guaranteed and depends on availability. If no-one takes the suite immediately after you, you may be able to enjoy a quieter departure. The rate, adjusted according to our yielding system, will be given to you directly at reception when you make your request. Don’t forget to ask for information on the spot, but bear in mind that this is subject to change. We will do our best to satisfy you, while ensuring that everything is ready for the next visitors.

Extending or shortening your stay?

Extension: Go to reception to check availability.
Early departure: Let us know at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll take care of the rest.
